What a fantastic Pre-Mother's Day celebration with my Samantha. Jacob's Pickle for lunch then the Met Museum Costume Exhibit..and Asian craft table making paper vases.
Thanks for a great day...plus chocolates!😋
And now...my Sunday work: church singing job then teaching at Paper Mill Playhouse in the afternoon, my sweet Youth singers.
Happy Mother's Day....to All Who Nurture💕

P.S. What a treat ending the day hearing Camille Diamond's exquisite cabaret show at Don't Tell Mama...and seeing so many friends.

Ricky Rojas is Joy! This man was born to entertain! I'm thrilled to have seen his " chaos" show last night at Greenroom42...on his night off from his recurring stint in Broadway's MOULIN ROUGE. My Australian students may recall Ricky doing a workshop with him in 2019. Then again I brought him onto Zoom for a worldwide workshop for singers isolated during Covid 2020. While he was home in France! Get your ticket NOW for his August show ( he sells out!) and be sure to follow him for his regular live streams from his dressing room at MOULIN ROUGE's Hirshfeld ( sp) Theatre.

It was a joy to be with this talented cast: Eric Hoffman ( singing...no, that's not Christian Borle!), Jason Trachtenberg, Faith Emanuelle and Aaron O'Brien. Heather Bennett at the keyboard. Held at this "smooth" room at the Dramatist Guild Foundation, NYC.
