To cap off , we are proud to highlight another nonprofit partner, Life of Hope center, for their dedication to supporting Haitian New Yorkers 🇭🇹🗽, especially during these challenging times.

As one of MOIA’s Haitian Response Initiative (HRI) partners, Life of Hope provide services including free legal screenings and immigration legal help from accredited representatives, community and City resource navigation, adult classes, childcare services, and more.

Last Thursday, our leadership team was thrilled to welcome Commissioner Ahmed Tigani, NYC Department of Buildings to Life of Hope for a tour of our site and to share our vision for a permanent Hub of Hope.

Grateful for his time, leadership, and commitment to seeing firsthand the impact this project will have on Central Brooklyn. Special thanks to our pro-bono counsel, Steven Polivy.

We thank Mayor Zohran Kwame Mamdani and Commissioner Faiza N. Ali of NYC Mayor's Office of Immigrant Affairs for the meeting and most importantly recognizing the urgent challenges facing Haitian TPS families. We respectfully request the Mayor’s partnership in urging the Governor’s Office and philanthropic organizations to establish an emergency assistance fund that provides immediate relief to affected families.
