Parsons School of Design/The New School (Parsons/TNS) is actively monitoring the incidence of Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) in our region. Parsons/TNS is following guidance from local health departments and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) regarding large gatherings, including CDC recommendations on preventing the spread of COVID-19.

At this time, our galleries will remain open but all upcoming public programs and events are cancelled in order to protect the health of potential visitors, students, faculty, and staff.

Cheeseburgers, Oil and Minimum Wage: Building a Museum of Capitalism A roving exhibition, now on view in Manhattan, looks back on capitalism and its “artifacts” from an imaginary future after the system has disappeared.

We're really excited for the Museum of Capitalism to open in our gallery next week, including the work of many talented folks such as Daniel Bejar, Cheyenne Concepcion, Nina Katchadourian and Julia Meltzer, and Igor Vamos! The public opening is Thursday, November 7 from 6-8 pm, so come on by!
