At Seneca Village Montessori, learning is not something that happens to our children. It is something they do, with their hands, their bodies, and their whole hearts.

We are now enrolling toddlers for the 2026-2027 school year, starting at 22 months.

Every year at Seneca Village Montessori, we set aside time to honor the kings in our children’s lives.This is our 9th Annual Kings Day, and every year it means more than the last.

To every King who has braided hair, tied shoes, wiped tears, sat at small tables, read bedtime stories, and showed up for their child in ways the world will never fully see, this day is for you.

Happy Father’s Day to our entire community of kings.

These little ones are building fine motor control, developing letter recognition, connecting the shape of a letter to the letters in their own name, and doing all of it with their hands fully engaged.

In Montessori, we believe the hand is the instrument of the mind. When children learn through touch and movement, the learning goes deeper and it stays longer.

Their name is the first word that belongs to them. We think it deserves to be celebrated.
