Mr. Daren Johnson is a Educational Leader with New York City Public Schools. He was recently commended for being the youngest candidate enrolled in his PhD programme at Walden University. He also currently serves as a Business Professor at Monroe College in New York.
Mr. Johnson finds joy in giving back and volunteering his time to help children and adults better themselves. He recently went to his high school and established a yearly scholarship in his name for the top business student.
Along with that, the Muirhouse Primary School and PDL Academy School also benefited from this initiative as the students who did exceptionally well in their GSAT examinations were awarded scholarships as well.
Mr. Johnson has a Teaching Diploma from Moneague College, Bachelors degree (Summa Cum Laude) from Monroe College, Master of Science degree in Human Resources Management from Pace University and his current pursuit of his Doctorate in Education from Walden University.
This is Mr. Johnson's second year as Camp Supervisor and Human Resources Director of JIRC. He encourages his St. Ann team to have a vision beyond their circumstances as circumstancial barriers are there to keep us motivated for greater things, not to pull us down. If you can think it, you can become it. A change of mindset is your password to a brighter future.
