Lexington Parent Staff Association Guiding Principles:
1. To coordinate communication between families and school to enhance our students' education and help them fulfill their potential

The Lexington Parents Staff Association is an organization where parents and staff of Lexington students can gather to discuss issues, sponsor activities/events and to provide parental support. To provide a forum for parents and/or staff to present their personal concerns, problems and/or recommendations about the children and school, with the assurance that it will be brought to the attention of the appropriate school official
2. To create a sense of community for the school's families
4. To advocate for and promote the rights of our students and the Lexington community.
5. To ensure the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) is promoted and enforce for the benefit and protection of Lexington children and youth.

We’re excited to welcome Sheila Xu, a Deaf Asian pilot and Deputy Director of Development at AstroAccess. Sheila aspires to be a deaf astronaut and is the first Deaf Asian female pilot in history.

Come do exciting STEM activities with her at ASL STEM Day on October 25 at NYU.

Given the incoming heat wave and the lack of air conditioning in the building, we will be having remote school tomorrow, Monday, June 23rd. Teachers will be contacting students about assignments. High school students are expected to check their Schoology courses for messages from teachers and respond to posts.

SAVE THE DATE: OCTOBER 25-27, 2024!
Lexington School for the Deaf is proud to be hosting the Eastern Schools for the Deaf Athletic Association (ESDAA)’s 8th annual Soccer Tournament. Eight schools will be participating in the tournament.
The Lexington Alumni Association will host Homecoming on Saturday, October 26. Saturday's activities include a volleyball match against the Pennsylvania School for the Deaf.
More information will be available in a few weeks. If you are interested in donating, please contact [email protected] to learn how you can help with the tournament or if you would like to volunteer.
