No matter your field of endeavor--the corporate ladder, the sporting event, or the family home--sacrifice is necessary to succeed...sacrifice of time, energy, and personal pleasure and motivations. But the overall gratification of a job well-done, far exceeds the temporary pleasures that a lot of us far too often succumb to.

It is much easier to succumb to the easy-way-out mentality rather than fight the battle of self-will...you can easily make excuses in the moment but don't faint failure when it happens because of a lack of self-discipline...

We all have the ability to be a champion of something...mostly of ourselves....we just need a greater desire, dream, or vision to get out of the rut and become one...

Mental toughness is when you find fuel on an empty tank...Over the years I've had a lot of athletes complain about their lack of it...here's a coupla secrets...we ALL have it,we just make excuses not to use it...why??...because it's easier to expect less, rather than work for more...secondly, it's an evergrowing entity...as you overcome one obstacle it's easier to overcome another and another and another...ergo you become mentally tougher...so whether it's the decision to tackle a home project, overcome a work barrier, or get out the door to do a workout on these upcoming hot summer days we all can work on something...being mentally tougher...

Looks like we're going to get a little wet tomorrow...a small price to pay considering others paid a bigger price price to afford us the chance to dodge raindrops during the race. Let NONE of us forget what tomorrow is about. Thanx to all the Vets...proud to be an American

Starting to do some really nice things, but it's getting a little tougher as we lengthen out, which is normal...just keep hammering away.
