With and being at the heart of all that she does, we want to take a moment to celebrate Dr. Stacie NC Grant, our 26th International President of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated, as she enjoys her birthday today.

Dr. Grant’s provision in the realm of education, maternal health advocacy, social justice and equality has been marked by a relentless dedication to improving the well-being of women. Her initiatives to The Extraordinary Power of S.H.E. - an opportunity for Zetas worldwide to be intentional about Social, Health and Economic justice for women at home and abroad, have empowered communities with essential knowledge, resources and connections that are breaking barriers and creating a more inclusive and equitable society for those impacted by the work of Zeta.

As a preeminent advocate for change, Dr. Grant and her legacy will undoubtedly continue to inspire and drive progress within our sisterhood.

Today, we celebrate your tireless commitment to being the beacon of our legacy and dedication to losing yourself in the service of others.

Zeta Phi Beta was proud to stand alongside the American Cancer Society for a powerful day kicking off Breast Cancer Awareness Month at Good Morning America for a special breast cancer panel.

Dr. Alpa Patel of the American Cancer Society, Dr. Tara Narula of ABC News, and Dr. Susanna Greer of the V Foundation for Cancer Research covered what matters most to those affected: genetic testing, caregiving, fertility, recurrence, intimacy, managing side effects, advocacy, and clinical trials.

We didn’t go to Washington, D.C. simply to be in the room. We went to make sure our voices were heard because advocacy is part of our legacy. 💙🤍

From the Five Pearls who founded our sisterhood at Howard University to the women who stood on Capitol Hill for Zeta Day on the Hill, we carry a tradition of service that demands more than observation; it demands participation, especially on behalf of those who have been silenced in our communities.

We were prepared to speak up, listen, learn, and advocate.

We met with elected officials, shared the concerns impacting our communities, and made sure the issues that matter to us were part of the conversation. Because being community-conscious means more than knowing what’s happening; it means showing up and doing something about it.

The Finer women of NYS showed up at the 57th Annual African American Day Parade this Sunday. 💙

In 1968 during the height of the Civil Rights Movement, the African American Day Parade held its inaugural march on September 21, 1969 created by community leaders in Harlem. Since then this annual parade travels down Adam Clayton Powell Jr. Boulevard to celebrate Black culture, Black history, and Black achievements in New York.

The rain may have poured but it couldn’t wash away our joy, our sisterhood, or our spirit and our responsibility to urge our community to get out and vote! We laughed, we strolled, and we represented!

We are beyond grateful for all NYS Chapters, Youth and Amicae who participated in such a historic day!
