Hey Battery Park City! We need your help. The Census is really important for our school! We all need to be counted so that we can receive the most funding possible. So please please fill out your census - it’s short and painless. And remember to count your infants and toddlers! They will be at PS 89 before the next Census comes around.

The pre-K application for the 2020-2021 school year will open on Wednesday, February 5.

All NYC families with children born in 2016 can apply to pre-K anytime between February 5 and March 16, 2020 through a MySchools

The Kindergarten Admissions process begins Wednesday, December 11th. Children born in 2015 should apply to kindergarten for the 2020-2021 school year. The deadline to submit an application is Tuesday, January 21, 2020. All families who apply by the deadline will receive a kindergarten offer in April.

The Office of Student Enrollment launched a new application website for families called MySchools, which is where you will apply. The site includes an online directory tool that allows families to explore program choices, save programs of interest, and submit their application, all on the same site.
