Neighborhood Charter Schools Public Charter School The Neighborhood Charter School of Harlem is a new public charter school located in Harlem.

We will open in the summer of 2012 with kindergarten and first grade and will grow a grade each year until we are a K-8 school. We are deeply committed to providing our students with a rigorous education that prepares them for college.

The excitement is building as we prepare to welcome Neighborhood Charter Schools students back on Thursday, August 27. We’re ready for a year of strong academics, new discoveries, meaningful connections, and plenty of opportunities to let our LIGHT shine.

Families, don’t forget: Orientation and Meet the Teacher will take place Wednesday, August 26. Please check your school communications for campus-specific details.
