Notre Dame Academy juniors are excitedly preparing to receive a signature piece of the NDA uniform – their senior sweaters! Students of the class of 2026 were measured for their senior sweaters this week and greeted with smiles (and treats!) from members of our Alumnae Association Executive Board. They were also given a commemorative pin by the Notre Dame Academy Alumnae Association to wear on their senior sweaters and to mark this momentous occasion.
Special thanks to the Class of 2004 for sponsoring this event in memory of classmate Cara Maglione, Linda Petrocelli ‘84 for the delicious cookies, and Liz Monzi McCarthy ‘00 ‘04 for the picturesque balloon display.

Visitation Spirituality at Notre Dame Academy. 💚
NDA Freshman Alyssa-Lola has always dreamed of attending the University of Miami. When she heard that senior Andrea had just been accepted and would be attending in the fall, she reached out to see if she could get some advice on how to achieve her goal.
Andrea ‘25 was more than happy to meet with Alyssa ‘28 and had a great conversation about the application process, building a strong college profile, and the importance of academics, service, and extracurriculars. This meaningful exchange truly reflects the spirit of sisterhood at Notre Dame Academy. It is a perfect example of our students supporting and inspiring each other, just as St. Marguerite Bourgeoys envisioned.

St. Patrick’s Day at NDA! ☘️
This year we honor the spirit of Sr. Anne, whose love for this holiday brightened every year. The High School student government held a special green dress-down day, with proceeds benefiting the renovations of her former classroom, which will be transformed into the Sr. Anne Seeley Peace and Social Justice Conference Room.
Project Hospitality also honored the life and legacy of Sr. Anne at the St. Joseph’s Dinner with a newly instituted award, the Sr. Anne Seeley CND Longest Table Award, accepted by Sr. Mary Jane Hebert, CND. Five Notre Dame Academy students proudly served over 400 guests with smiles at the event. Their acts of service reflect the core values and teachings that Sr. Anne instilled in her students, demonstrating her commitment to faith, compassion, and social justice.

“Once we start to think about the kind of world we are leaving to future generations, we look at things differently; we realize that the world is a gift which we have freely received and must share with others…the world we have received also belongs to those who will follow us.”

Today students focused on the importance of prayer, fasting, and almsgiving during a school-wide Ash Wednesday prayer service. As we begin the season of Lent, we are called to connect ourselves with God and reflect on Jesus’ sacrifice through prayer. This season is a time for renewal, seeking God's guidance and strength as we walk through this Lenten journey. ✝️
