Zicklin Graduate Accounting Society The Zicklin Graduate Accounting Society (ZGAS) is the largest and most active graduate society at Baruch College.

The Zicklin Graduate Accounting Society (ZGAS) is one of the foremost graduate societies at Baruch College. With over 900 members and 1,000 students participating in our events each year, we are the largest and most active graduate society on campus. We hold at least 15 events per year, which include accounting panels, information sessions, resume and interview workshops with recruiters, and exclusive networking opportunities. Major accounting firms sponsor ZGAS events, including the Big Four and other mid-size accounting firms, such as Anchin, Baker Tilly, BDO, Cohn Reznick, Grant Thornton, McGladrey, ParenteBeard, and WeiserMazars.

Finally, the biggest night of the semester is here! Come and join us for Alumni Night, where you can build long-lasting relationships with accounting and tax professionals from an array of companies in a relaxed, informal, and friendly environment. Also, use this opportunity to catch up with old and new friends from the Baruch community over delicious food and fun games!

This event is co-hosted by ZFAA, GBAP, GSA, ZGAS, ZTAX, BAS, and Graduate Ascend.

ZGAS is the largest and most active graduate organization on campus, and our goal is to provide our members with networking opportunities with recruiters and professionals in the accounting industry. ZGAS and BAS had the great honor to invite Gen II Fund Services professionals to Baruch last Thursday for a corporate presentation! Ariel Jorge, a principal from the Client Services group, conducted a thorough and insightful presentation on PE fund structures, investment strategies, life cycles of alternative investments, and the job responsibilities as a fund administrator. Attendees were super excited to learn about the alternative investment industry and how this new world of investing can provide accounting students a different yet promising career path than the traditional accounting services. Special thanks to BAS for co-hosting this event with ZGAS, and we hope to host more intellectual workshops and networking events in the future!
