Today, we join millions of Hellenes across the world to commemorate this Greek Independence Day and honor the legacy of the courageous and honorable men and women throughout Hellenic history who fought to ensure independence and liberty for future generations of Greeks. We are inspired by these enduring values of democracy and celebrate the Hellenic ideals of excellence, pursuit of knowledge and civic contribution while looking forward to a bright future.

Merry Christmas and may the New Year be filled with blessings, good health and happiness.

With the support of our Founders, FAITH has continued its mission advancing educational and cultural programs throughout the Greek Orthodox and Hellenic-American community over the past two decades by proudly awarding over 2,000 grants and scholarships to aspiring young leaders and supporting initiatives that have shaped our community.

In 2025 we awarded 68 FAITH Scholarships for Academic Excellence to outstanding high school seniors entering their freshmen year of college. Each of them demonstrated exceptional academic achievement, community leadership, and commitment to volunteerism. We also awarded 86 FAITH Scholarships for Excellence in STEM to university students maintaining excellence in STEM fields, academics, and community involvement. These young leaders join a network of nearly 1,000 FAITH Scholar alumni. We awarded 18 scholarships to the National Finalists of the St. John Chrysostom Oratorical Festival and five grants in partnership with the Fulbright Foundation of Greece. This year FAITH sponsored the first-ever English translation of “Answers to Liturgical Questions” and the distribution of this six-volume set to parishes across the United States of America.

We look forward to continuing our mission in 2026 to support innovative programs and the extraordinary young leaders within the Hellenic-American and Greek Orthodox community and empowering them to reach their full potential.
