We don’t get the “Sunday Scaries,” we get the scribbles!
Scribbling can represent both drawing and writing for children. They may not be able to write words yet, but they can attempt to make marks that show something. All forms of scribbling are important to the development of drawing, writing, reading, and communicating. Creative arts are at the core of our social-emotional-intellectual curriculum development.
