Two of our Career Development Center advisors, Wanda Carter and Kathleen Hodges, were busy representing us in the community last week. They attended a meeting at The Child Care Council of Dutchess and Putnam, Inc. and a teen summit hosted by Dutchess One Stop Career Center and Dutchess BOCES!

The Center for New York City Affairs recently released their universal child care cost model, which provides cost estimates for a fully implemented universal child care system in NYC. Their model uses a career ladder and salary scale developed by the Child Care Workforce Collaborative, a group of New York State leaders convened by the Institute.
