17 years ago, Gabriella showed up on my porch...a tiny little kitten who was starving. I took her in and we began our beautiful irreplaceable journey together. I am grateful for every second of my life with her. I loved her beyond measure.🌹Although I’m much better now, I still hurt every day.

Three months ago today, on June 18, she passed away. The pain I have felt since then is indescribable. She was my beautiful baby girl, my life partner and my teacher. Those of you who knew her, knew she did not suffer fools and she carefully selected those whom she loved. This post is to share with you how I felt then and for those who don’t still know. Please allow me to Paraphrase “W. H. Auden”...

I have a special place in my heart for Joe McGowan's artistry and loving friendship. I love his songs and I am beyond thrilled that he is on the official first round ballot for the 61st Annual Grammy Awards in 4 categories (Best New Artist as well as Record of the Year, Best Country Solo, and Best Music Video for "Sweet Talk"). He is living out his life long dream and a vote for him can help so much. I'll certainly be voting for him and hope you do too!
