Summer Camp is almost here… and we’re officially 2 weeks away from welcoming our campers for a summer full of art, animals, music, cooking, play, and memories they’ll talk about long after pickup. ☀️🐰🎨

Summer camp at The Art Farm is a place where children get to explore, create, move, make new friends, meet animals, try new things, and build confidence in a space that feels warm, playful, and safe.

Our preschool friends spent the morning volunteering at Carl Schurz Park, pulling weeds, planting flowers, and adding fertilizer to help the gardens grow big and strong! 🌱🌼

Along the way, they discovered snails, millipedes, and isopods, and remembered to observe them gently before returning them to their homes in the soil. 🐌✨

When children learn to care for animals, they also learn to care for the places those animals call home. Building empathy for animals helps grow empathy for nature, too. 💚

A child’s first school experience should feel thoughtful from the very beginning. ✨

At The Art Farm Preschool, so much of what makes our program special comes from the people your child meets each day.

That’s exactly what Rock, Smocks, & Animals is all about.

This 60-minute adult-and-me class brings together music, movement, sensory art, and weekly animal encounters inside NYC’s indoor petting zoo. Your child gets to sing, dance, create, practice being in a group, and spend time with animals in a warm, playful environment. 🎶

It’s the kind of class where toddlers can be toddlers — curious, messy, excited, and ready to explore. ✨

Our Preschool Spring Fling was such a special reminder of what makes The Art Farm community so meaningful. 🌸💚

From the setup to the smiles, from face painting to balloon animals, from little laughs to sweet moments with families, this day was all about celebrating our preschoolers and the community around them.

We love creating moments where children can play, explore, feel celebrated, and build memories with their friends and families. Preschool at The Art Farm is more than what happens inside the classroom. It is the friendships, the confidence, the joy, and the sense of belonging that grows along the way.

A huge thank you to all of our preschool families who joined us and made the day so special. We are so grateful to be part of your child’s early learning journey.
