We are excited to announce that the Proyecto Access Hostos STEP Fall 2025 Semester Application is now open! Proyecto Access Hostos STEP is open to all New York State students in grades 7–12 only.
This fall, we are happy to offer once again our 10 Week Virtual After-School Homework Help Program! This program is free of charge and designed to support scholars as they build their academic skills and confidence throughout the school year. Please see the attached flyer for full program details and all Fall offerings.
Program Details:
Dates: Monday, September 22nd, 2025 - Wednesday, November 26th, 2025
Schedule: 4 PM - 8 PM.
Format: Virtual - Zoom & Google Classroom. Student
MUST have a gmail account, please provide on application.
Eligibility: Open to New York State students in grades 7–12 ONLY. Space is limited and will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.

From Sept 15–Oct 15, we celebrate the history, culture & contributions of Hispanic Americans. It started as a week in 1968 and became a month in 1988. The dates honor independence days across Latin America + Día de la Raza in October!

Each July, we recognize BIPOC Mental Health Month, which is dedicated to increasing awareness of mental health and wellness among students and families who identify as Black, Indigenous, or People of Color. This month is a time to encourage open conversations about mental health, reduce stigma, and help everyone feel more comfortable seeking support when needed.
