Magnet Theater & Training Center is New York City's home for critically-acclaimed improv, sketch, and stand-up comedy shows, plus classes and workshops in improv, sketch comedy, musical improv, and storytelling. Not only does Magnet provide world-class improv, sketch comedy, and storytelling training, our space is available to rent for your independent rehearsals, classes, writers meetings, and practice sessions. Classrooms can be reserved up to two calendar months in advance. It means on January 1st, we will show availability up to February 28th on our reservation tool (more on that below). On February 1st, we open up reservations until March 31st. On March 1st, you can make a reservation for dates up until April 30th. DISCOUNTS:
– If you check in on Facebook or Instagram, you’ll receive $5 off your next rental. We will also accept when you check in on apps like Yelp! or Swarm and share the check-in with friends via Twitter or Facebook. Just show the office staff your social media post and you’ll get the discount.
– Write a review of our rental space on Google, Facebook, Yelp!, or Foursquare and receive a $10 discount on your next rental. (No repeat reviews on the same site/platform.)
– Pick either of the money-saving strategies above, but please note that there’s a limit of one discount per rental.
