Kids have an incredible way of influencing one another in positive ways. Through friendship, teamwork, kindness, and everyday interactions, they help each other grow in confidence, creativity, and character. Children learn by watching and encouraging one another, often inspiring habits of empathy, courage, and resilience. When kids are surrounded by supportive peers, they not only build stronger relationships but also become better versions of themselves. Their ability to uplift and motivate each other is truly powerful.

Through interactive read-alouds, our young learners are actively engaged in listening, asking questions, sharing ideas, and making meaningful connections to the stories they hear.
Read-aloud experiences help build a love of reading while encouraging kindness, empathy, creativity, and confidence. It is inspiring to see our students become active participants in their learning as they explore new ideas, discuss important lessons, and take action in thoughtful ways both inside and outside the classroom.
We are proud of the enthusiasm and curiosity our kindergarteners bring to every story, and we look forward to continuing to nurture strong readers and compassionate learners through the power of read-alouds.

Harlem 2 are NATIONAL CHAMPIONS!!!
Harlem 2 took home 1st place in the K-3 U600 AND 3rd place in the K-3 U1000 at Nationals Elementary Championship in Baltimore, Delaware.
The team worked extremely hard this year to not only qualify two teams to nationals but to also place in the top 3, led by coach Mr T.
Thank you to all the chess families for all their incredible support throughout this year and a special thank you to the parent chaperones at Baltimore. None of this is possible without your support!
