Dear Parents of our current and prospective students
Our child care center has been a second home for children of Staten Island for over 16 years and will continue to be for years to come. However, as any successful educational establishment, it should move forward, constantly upgrading and improving its performance to prepare our children for the challenges of tomorrow. This daycare center, presently known as Smile Around Us, will be soon operating under new ownership and new name UniKids, (permit approval pending). We’ve been working hard to make the transition period as smooth and quick as possible. There will be no material changes in the course of the business, except for our continuing efforts to improve quality of our services, and to implement advanced and enjoyable educational and developmental programs. At UniKids we are excited and yet very serious about this undertaking, as we realize that you entrust us with the most valuable treasure of your life – your child. We also realize that aside from being education professionals ourselves, we assume responsibility of managing qualified personnel, who are privileged to touch minds and souls of our children, and we will make sure that this is done in a highly respectful and professional manner. Moreover, we are here to offer more than just a comfortable and safe environment for our children. Our goal is to achieve continuous development of every child’s abilities through providing truly enjoyable extracurricular programs and activities in the arts, music, vocal, gymnastics, and computer literacy. We believe that every child is talented in his or her own unique way and we see our mission as to awake, bring to life and develop these very special talents. Our top priority is to employ only those educational professionals, who truly enjoy working with children, respect every child as a person, and do their best to encourage and inspire every one of our children, make them happy with and proud of their achievements. We are committed to live up to these high standards, as nothing short of these standards will be acceptable to us, to the parents, and most importantly, to the children.
