Shoutout to our Student Council for presenting at Brooklyn’s Borough Hall this past weekend! They proposed a $100 million legislative bill that would advocate for higher sanitation standards and more routine cleaning in NYC public schools, using semesterly student surveys to guide needs-based funding. This is part of our ongoing commitment to ensure all students have access to clean, safe, and dignified learning spaces. 🙌

At DT we are grateful for good food, warm smiles, and a school community that feels like family. Our Thanksgiving Potluck was a beautiful reminder of how much we have to appreciate one shared dish at a time.
