What's in your foam? 🛏️ Did you know that manufacturers are not required to label products with which flame retardant chemicals are used? 🤐 Some flame retardants an accumulate in our body's fat deposits over a long time, and some may be toxic. 👅 (Yuck!) Bromine and chlorine are chemicals in some flame retardants, which may mimic thyroid hormones and interfere with normal hormone signaling that our bodies depend on. Dust from foam can contain these chemicals and end up on the floor where babies crawl...
