Supermud Pottery Studio was started over 40 years ago as a working studio and gallery, and has been in its current sunny second story location on the Upper West Side since 1997. We offer classes in hand building, wheel throwing and glazing to adults and children of all skill levels. Classes consist of no more than 8 students to allow for individual attention from our highly skilled teaching staff. The relaxed ambiance of the studio encourages sharing of ideas and fosters creativity.

This 10-week course will focus on indigenous and Latin American ceramics. While exploring their symbolism and meaning, we’ll spend each week creating altar objects, ocarinas, and much more. All are welcome!
