Culture Day was a celebration of who we are — full of pride, learning, and joy! 🌍🎉
Our students shared traditions, showcased flags and outfits, and learned from one another in the most beautiful way. So grateful for a school community that honors every story. 💚

This year’s 8th-grade class is a reminder of what happens when students are surrounded by people who believe in them. These young people have earned acceptance into some of Brooklyn’s most competitive high schools through hard work, resilience, and determination.

At Hebrew Public, we believe every student deserves someone who sees their potential before they fully see it themselves. Through guidance, encouragement, academic support, and teachers who truly care, our students are empowered to grow into confident young leaders ready to take on the future.

These acceptances are more than just admissions letters. They are stories of growth, perseverance, and possibility. And this is only the beginning.

We had the best time welcoming colleagues from across the Hebrew charter school network to New York City this week! Leaders from our schools across the country came together to observe classrooms, learn from one another, and share best practices as we continue strengthening our network and mission together.

Of course, no NYC visit would be complete without a little fun. We made a trip to historic Coney Island, complete with boardwalk strolls, classic New York nostalgia, and plenty of laughs together.

We could not stop celebrating since mid-April! Across all of our East Coast schools, students, families, and staff came together for joyful cultural celebrations of Israel’s 78th birthday. From virtual airplane flights to bargaining at the “shuk” (market), every activity was filled with curiosity, connection, and respect. 💙✈️

Our team competed in a chess tournament at Riverbank State Park ♟️🏆

31 HLA scholars represented our school across the ROOK, KNIGHT, and PAWN sections—with one scholar also competing in QUEEN.

And a huge congratulations to our ROOK (U-900) team for bringing home 2nd place! 🥈🔥
