Part 2 of finding this poor girl near Lake Jordan...

A couple people were upset on Part 1 because I kept encouraging her to walk, so I just want to explain what was happening in that moment.

When I first saw her, I didn't know if she was hurt, scared, shut down, or just stuck where she was. She was on a steep little drop-off, and I was trying to see if she could come toward me before I climbed down there myself, because I was by myself and was afraid of falling down there too.

I also have a medical condition that can make me faint, so I was trying to figure it out in real time without making the situation worse. It's easy to watch a video later and know what should happen, but in the moment I was still trying to figure out if she could move at all.

Eventually I realized she really couldn't get herself out, so I grabbed her front legs and pulled her up onto flatter ground. I know that might look rough, but she didn't cry, she didn't act like it hurt her, and honestly she seemed relieved once she was out of that spot. I don't know what else I could have done alone right there except get her out the safest way I could.

She is seriously so sweet. Even as weak as she was, she was gentle the whole time.

Also, yes, Ezreal was being an absolute attention hog and kept trying to shove himself between me and her. At one point I went to push him back and almost fell over both of them, so if it looks like I knocked him down, I didn't mean to. He was fine. He was just being Ezreal and trying to make the rescue about him too.

I almost have enough to take her to the vet today to check for a microchip, get her weight, and see what she needs. If they'll let me record, I'll get footage there too.

Part 3 is coming soon. I'm breaking it up because Instagram seems to push shorter reels better, and I want people to actually see her story instead of posting one long video that disappears.
