MALIK Fraternity, Inc. (“MALIK”) was founded on May 13, 1977, at the CW Post Campus of Long Island University as the first collegiate fraternity founded on the concept of African Fraternalism. MALIK was created to empower people of the African and Latino Diaspora through initiatives that promote cultural awareness, health and wellness, educational advancement, economic empowerment, professional development, leadership, social responsibility, social justice, and community service.

Happy Founders’ Day to Delta Xi Phi Multicultural Sorority, Inc! was founded at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign on April 20, 1994.
