Merry Christmas! I hope you’re having a relaxing holiday season! 🎄
Here’s my latest design, a Christmas tree, topped with a small EZ Star! Inspired by the “Red & Green” challenge, Brian Beitel’s modulars that I recently test folded, and my Logarithmic Spiral.
This is a recursive modular, meaning each stage is folded from progressively smaller squares. This tiny 3-stage rendition is folded from 21 square sheets of kraft paper (7 sheets per stage, ranging from 1.33” to 3”).
The units are fairly simple to fold and assemble, so I plan to diagram this design at some point. I hope you like it. Please let me know what you think! 💫

The convention will be held from May 1-3, 2026 at the Gustav-Stresemann-Institut (GSI) in Bonn, Germany. More details to be announced in early December.
This will be my first time in Germany and I am thrilled to be back in Europe so soon for another international convention! I look forward seeing familiar faces and making more origami friends oversees.
Let me know if you’ll be attending— I would love to connect! 😊

Happy Friday! 💫 Here’s a new fractal design that I’ve been working on. I hope you like it!
Designed and folded October 2025 from 40 sheets of duo kraft paper. This rendition has five stages. Each stage is folded from eight units and each unit is folded from one square.
The units have an asymmetrical folding sequence. All units & stage lock together nicely, so I am happy with the result!
Naming suggestions are welcome. Let me know what you think! 😀

I hope you like it! Please let me know what you think! 💫
