Today is the feast day of our patroness. St Rose of Lima, pray for us.

NYS test scores for our school were just released. Proficiency in ELA rose by 3% this year, and Math scores rose by 13%! Great work, students! And great job, teachers!

After 95 years of service in Catholic education, today was our last day. May God bless all those connected with St. Rose of Lima School. I am honored and humbled to have been a small part of this very special place.

I’m a bit late posting these, but here are pictures from our school fair on Thursday. A little rain couldn’t stop us. As Mr. Mooney says, “It’s always a beautiful day in Washington Heights!”
