NYC Violin Studio

Spring is finally here and that means it’s time for everyone’s favorite event: the NYC Violin Studio Spring Concert! This year’s event will be held on Sunday, May 17, at 5 PM at the Helen Mills Theater. We are so excited to hear our wonderful students perform! Tickets are available at the link in our bio.

This Saturday, NYC Violin Studio will be providing entertainment at Chelsea Green Park’s Spring Block Party! We will have live performances, tables full of swag and assorted merchandise, and opportunities for attendees to try your hand at the violin! Come by the park between 10:30 and 2:30 and spend a beautiful Saturday afternoon with us!

PARENTS: At 1:30 pm, Jane Lee will be teaching a free kids group class at Chelsea Green Park (ages 3-8). Instruments provided. No advance sign up needed, but feel free to reach out with questions! 🎻🎶

This is a free event designed for new musicians to get used to performing in front of an audience. It is open to novices on any instrument. Beginning Sunday, March 1st, the NYC Violin Studio would love to host a monthly Music Exploration Class, designed especially for kids!

We are currently gathering interest and feedback in order to make this program happen. The classes will be 45 minutes long, open to all ages, and parents and siblings are encouraged to attend.

Classes will be game-based in order to allow children to learn music through fun, interactive experiences.

Students will have the opportunity to explore a variety of instruments, including ukulele, guitar, drums/percussion, keyboard and more! Classes will include introduction to basic music theory, music history and music appreciation in an age-appropriate and exciting way.

The instructor is an active performer and music teacher in the NYC school system with extensive experience in creating fun, engaging and meaningful music classes.

Classes would be held on Sundays at the NYC Violin Studio (134 W 26th Street, Chelsea).
