🚀 Imagine peeking 4.5 billion years back in time.
That’s exactly what you’re seeing here.
This is Abell S1063, a giant galaxy cluster in the constellation Grus. Its sheer mass bends space itself, acting like a cosmic magnifying glass. Glowing arcs and streaks on the picture are actually distant galaxies, stretched and magnified by a cosmic trick called gravitational lensing.
Webb spent 120 hours capturing this deep field, using nine infrared filters to uncover the faintest sparks of the universe. This is Webb’s deepest look yet into a single spot of sky.
Here, you’re not just seeing light. You’re seeing time itself. 🌌

The longer time goes on, the longer I lose faith in the future, these are dark days, we should love one another instead of feeding more hatred into our lives.

New Shuttle History Book! 📖
This summer we marked 20 years since the shuttle's return to flight after the Columbia disaster.
A new memoir by Steven Hirshorn, the operations representative to the Space Shuttle Orbiter Project Office at the time, presents his perspective on the tragedy, NASA's quest for answers in its aftermath, and lessons for today's leaders.

Hello Everyone, here is my latest capture - The Squid Nebula. It's a faint, massive outflow of oxygen gas. The Squid's mysterious origin might be tied to a triple star system and is still being studied by astronomers. I captured this with my Celestron RASA telescope, ZWO ASI533MC color camera, and an Optolong L-eXtreme from Starfront Observatories.

The SLS rocket for the NASA Artemis II mission may look like its Artemis I predecessor, but it has a few upgrades.
After a successful uncrewed test flight, engineers have improved the Moon rocket’s performance, safety, and reliability, inside and out. Now, it's almost ready to launch the first Artemis crew around the Moon early next year.

" I’m proud of this one. I brought a solar telescope to Florida to capture a Falcon 9 rocket launch transiting the sun. While these have been captured before, never with the details of the sun’s chromosphere, which makes this one the first! "

My Heart 💙
After over a decade of astrophotography in the backyard, I still love this hobby - and everything that comes with it.
My approach and processing styles may change, but my passion for astro is as bright as it was that first incredible night in 2010.
