Established in 2000, Carousel of Languages is New York City’s leading early childhood foreign language program. Offering 12 languages—French, Spanish, Mandarin, Italian, German, Greek, Hebrew, Hindi, Korean, Russian, Turkish, and English—we provide lessons for infants, toddlers, and young children, with a special focus on the most vital language-learning window:
0-3 years of age. We offer in-person classes at our Carousel home in New York City, and Carousel Online Lessons for families and schools nationwide. Carousel Teaching System®, our exclusive curriculum, was created by an expert team of linguists, educators, and early childhood specialists. Our full-immersion, classes are structured around time-honored early childhood themes, and our research-supported methodology is based on multisensory learning through verbal, visual, and tactile association, in a warm, nurturing, playful environment. Our exquisite Carousel home is designed to engage the senses and inspire curiosity. Carousel's flagship Madison Avenue location sits in the heart of the historic Carnegie Hill neighborhood on Manhattan's Upper East Side, surrounded by New York's vibrant international community and many of the city's most esteemed schools. Our global team of educators and linguists are constantly developing new and exciting activities and materials, providing our students with the tools for continuing success. Small class sizes (5 or less) enable students to actively participate and allow teachers to tailor lessons to meet individual needs. Our Carousel Home:
