It offers excellent academic degree programs in several design fields that also prepare students for professional careers as high school teachers. A non-profit making organization - is a recognized academic institution authorized by Israel's Council of Higher Education to award Bachelor degrees to its graduates (B. Ed, B.Arch.Ed & B.Ed.Des). DESIGNERS OF THE NEXT GENERATION
The NB School of Design and Education awards academic degrees in five main disciplines:
• Graphic Design – Visual Communications;
• Architecture;
• Photography;
• Fashion Design;
• Non-Fiction Film
• Cultural & Educational Management. Some 850 young Israelis are enrolled in these programs (with additional 350 students participating in non-academic diploma-studies). The majority hail from Israel's northern region. The School recognizes that designers play a significant role in society. Therefore, in addition to developing creativity and providing academic degrees, it strives to impart the many life skills needed to become talented focused professionals in today's rapidly-changing world. The School prepares students to be discerning visual thinkers, ethical practitioners and design teachers of the next generation.

Celebration through all faiths...

This is what a true celebration of co-existence and religious freedom looks like! The northern city of Haifa is a home for 5 different religions: Judaism, Christianity, Islam, Druze and the Bahá'í Faith. Check out the 'Holiday of Holidays' festival in Haifa, which marks holidays of all religious communities living together in the city.

According to many eastern beliefs, to achieve true enlightenment one must go through a long and profound spiritual process of consciousness transformation. Once the journey is complete the person is forever "enlightened".

These beliefs influenced the west and produced the idea that one can also achieve enlightenment through Trance music.

However, as opposed to the original idea, this kind of enlightenment is immediate and only takes a few minutes to achieve. Moreover, it is a temporary enlightenment - it fades quickly and can be restored in the next rave party.

Following these two principles - immediate and temporary - and inspired by traditional Indian art, we created a modular typographic system, consists of 13 curved stamps elements, which can be used to construct the whole Hebrew alphabet.

The final product was hand printed using a glow-in-the-dark paint on a 6m long wall.
