The Studio School NYC

The Studio School NYC The Studio School (1971) is an independent day school, located on the Upper West Side, NYC.

The Studio School educates the hearts and minds of children as we nurture the unfolding of their authentic spirit and character. Our students learn to value intellectual and creative ideas, and to take pleasure in the process of discovery. We seek a deep and lasting academic excellence, one that is achieved when children are motivated to embrace for themselves the journey of learning.

Hot off the press! 📰💜

Our Head of School, Janet C. Rotter’s article, “The Art of Learning and Becoming,” is featured in this week’s blog post by Parents League of New York.

A beautiful reflection on raising and teaching children who are not only well-educated, but curious, empathetic, and deeply grounded in who they are.

Read it, share it, and send it to anyone in your life who cares about children, education, and the kind of humans we’re helping them become.
