It is with great sadness that I share the sudden news we received this past weekend of the passing of former retired principal Martin C. Fiasconaro, the second principal of Brooklyn Studio Secondary School.

Mr. Fiasconaro dedicated many years of service to the department of education, our school community and played an important role in shaping Brooklyn Studio's history and growth. He retired in 2010, leaving behind a legacy of leadership, commitment, and service to our students and staff. Many members of our community remember him fondly and appreciate the contributions he made during his tenure as principal. Marty was Brooklyn Studio's "dad" for both our students and staff.

Please keep Mr. Fiasconaro's family and loved ones in your thoughts during this difficult time.
