There are several types of homecare workers in New York State. To become Certified as Home Health Aid (HHA) you must successfully complete 76 hrs of classroom training and 8 hrs of supervised Field practice. This training program is approved by the NYS Department of Social Services. In this program you will learn the technique of how to work with the elderly, children, physically challenged, mentally challenged and other patients with disabilities.
