Bay Ridge Prep
An independent, K-12 college prep school.
Sweet success at The Ten Stars Bakery! ππͺ
Our Kindergarteners brought their space-themed bakery to life, learning about entrepreneurship, financial literacy, marketing, teamwork, and of course, baking!
After requesting a business loan from Dr. Fasano and visiting Bay Ridge favorites like Bagel Boy and Mandato Bakery, students created treats from scratch, set prices, designed signage, surveyed customers, and even translated their menu into Spanish.
A big thank you to teacher Eric Keller, teaching assistant Nicole DiCamillo, and everyone who supported βs youngest entrepreneurs! πβ¨

ππ₯ TIGERS FOREVER π―
The 2026 Varsity Softball Tigers gave us a performance and season that our community will never forget.
While todayβs NYSAIS State Championship game did not end the way we hoped, our Bay Ridge Prep Tigers came out strong, taking an early lead and holding off Poly Prep through four innings before Poly ultimately pulled ahead in the final innings. Throughout the game, our student-athletes showed tremendous heart, determination, and resilience on the biggest stage in school history. Thank you to everyone who came to watch and who watched online, and thank you, Poly, for a fantastic game.
This season was nothing short of historic. The Tigers completed an unprecedented fifth consecutive undefeated season in the Independent School Athletic League and made the deepest NYSAIS Tournament run of any Bay Ridge Prep team ever β defeating higher-seeded opponents and competing against schools much larger than our own.
We are incredibly grateful to our players, coaches, and families for the immense pride they have brought to Bay Ridge Prep throughout this remarkable journey. Thank you for an unforgettable season and for inspiring our entire school community.
TIGERS FOREVER! ππ€

πΏ 3rd & 7th Graders Take on the Brooklyn Botanic Garden πΏ
The Rainforest Project leveled up as our 3rd graders dove into an Ecological Exploration workshop, discovering how plants adapt across rainforests, deserts, and marshes. Students compared biomes and even created their own mini terrariums to take home π±
Meanwhile, our 7th graders brought their biology studies to life, exploring plant cells and adaptations firsthand. From greenhouse tours to planting jade and pothos, they saw how plants thrive in even the most extreme environments.
Connecting with nature instead of a screen? We love to see it!
