It is with deep sadness that I announce the passing of Coach Herman Turner. Coach Turner was the girls basketball coach for several years. What a powerful force of positivity. There wasn’t a young lady that couldn’t be the best she could be around him.
Off the court he was the Mayor of Southeast Queens. It would be hard pressed to find someone that didn’t know and love him. Rest well Coach your legacy is forever in the hearts of everyone that encountered you.
