Hard to believe but - We are currently celebrating our 46th. Anniversary! As a training and production center in NYC live and on Zoom!
I am very proud of you as an important part of our history! - So to commemorate this event - You are invited as special guests
to our Monday, December 18 Holiday 7 pm showing of
current classical (Shakespeare / Moliere) and contemporary new work developing in our studio’s Professional Lab.
Please Mark your calendars! As an alum, I would love you in the audience and to lift a glass with us in celebration following the 7 pm performance.

Everyone Hola! Its Marlene Villafane. Here is the second promo of the Simon Studio celebrating more than 40 years in the business let’s please keep the torch burning. I’ve gleefully studied with Roger off and on for more than 20 years. We intend for the studio to continue successfully training its performers & providing a voice for directors & writers. When you receive the promo please spread the news by sharing it on all your social media pages & emailing it to your colleagues who are seriously seeking dramatic training.
I will be creating more promos & sending those as well to all of you. So again, let’s help keep the studio going strong with a plethora of aspiring artists in training with us. We can all agree that Roger is an awesome mentor with an awesome studio that’s effectively trained for 40 plus years. Again, be on the lookout for the promo and share it as much as possible. Details:
• Professional cameras, lighting, and sound bring short scenes (we recommend two) or monologues to life.
• We urge actors to prepare for filming in class with Roger.
• Actors pick their own material and scene partners. Instructors are here to be a resource and are eager to make suggestions if necessary.
• Delivery of footage is via Goggle Drive.

WORKSHOP DETAILS:
Each performer will have the opportunity
to shoot 2 minute scenes for monologues/reels.
WE WILL PROVIDE:
• Lighting, cameras, lenses & sound
• 2 cameras can be used for 2 person scenes/2 angles on a monologue
• A hands-on workshop to train performers in film technique
• Participants will be encouraged to run sound & 2nd camera
• All material/footage will be posted on a dropbox for membersto download for two weeks following the sessions
ALL SESSIONS WILL INCLUDE:
A & B CAMERA material with sound files.

Our limited exciting run of Bill Cosgriff's brilliantly wacky but moving comedy LOVE, S*X AND REAL ESTATE continues this weekend thru next week, ending Sat. Oct. 1st. It's been a blast playing in it with this terrific cast!
