Amy Marie Stewart - Voice Studio

It was so wonderful to participate in this project for my dear friend Tim Bostwick for National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS) from the early days of the pandemic on its effects on us so far ♥️

Thank you, Tim: it was a pleasure!

Coming up next Wednesday, 6/23 at 4pm!

I studied with Amy Justman when I first moved to NYC, and was transitioning from opera to musical theatre. I routinely give out the advice she gave me for the top of "There's a Fine, Fine Line:"

"Show me how interesting your 'nothing' is."

She's incredible at working with singers crossing between classical and MT singing. Amy has been in six (!!) Broadway productions, including understudying BOTH Jessie Mueller AND Renee Fleming in Carousel.

This Monday!!

THIS MONDAY 5/24!

Dan Micciche, MD at WICKED The Musical, will be hosting a Live TheoryWorks Q&A about crossing into Music Direction.

Before Dan was a music director, he was a Broadway actor, appearing as Mary Sunshine in Chicago The Musical. He'll be talking about his journey from performer to music director, and the most important qualities a Broadway MD can have.

This class is for:

• Any actors who are considering a parallel career in music directing,

• Any music directors and accompanists who want to move from regional work to a Broadway show,

• Any actors who want the inside scoop on what the MD for Wicked is thinking about in the room 😉

Tickets are $29! We'll answer all your questions. ❤
