https://bit.ly/15MinStrategySession My intention is to train actors to feel empowered by helping them build the solid foundation they need to realize a sustainable career (regardless of representation and/or union status). Driven by positivity, compassion and an insatiable love for the craft, the Actor & the Biz will guide you through the matrix of The Biz. My specialty is in working with actors who are new to the biz, coming back after hiatus or looking to take things to the next level. I took 15-years off between getting my BFA from Rutgers and starting a professional career. During that time, I was the Senior Executive Assistant to the President of Calvin Klein. In 2010, I combined my coaching skills with my organizational skills and created the ACTOR & the BIZ. During that time, I've been on over 500 auditions and booked over 100 jobs. I'm have representation and have become a proud member of both Actors Equity Association and SAG-AFTRA. I want to share my experiences with you and help you skip some of the mistakes I made all while supporting you throughout your process. Although our focus will be predominantly on The Biz, the craft will always be paramount. I have a plethora of tips and tricks and tools to give away so you can start auditioning consistently, building your resume, expanding your reel, refining your craft and acting as the President of YOU. I'm so excited to start working together!

🔪🎭 What an opening weekend!

👏 Sold-out shows. Standing O’s. And getting to hear what audiences are saying. One comment made me especially happy:

“That scene was breathtaking when Vera grabbed Emily’s face.”

🤪 Well, Di and I are having a little too much fun with that one.

🌪️ After the whirlwind of getting this show on its feet, there is nothing like finally having an audience; hearing the laughs, feeling the silence, and discovering together how deliciously tense, funny and thrilling Agatha Christie can be.

🪩 I’m having such a ball playing the wealthy, pious and spectacularly judgmental Emily Brent with this truly incredible cast.

🕵️‍♀️ Apparently audiences are calling the show sexy, mysterious, cinematic and thrilling. We’ll take it.

🌹 And those gorgeous opening-night roses! Thank you to my sibs Adam W Lerner Ali Lerner. They meant the world to me. ❤️

😴 Tomorrow we rest after 11 straight runs. Then back Tuesday for our final six performances … and more photos, of course.

Tonight’s the night! 🎭 Opening Night of AND THEN THERE WERE NONE

I’m making my debut as Emily Brent at the beautiful Arrow Rock Lyceum Theatre Theatre and what a wonderful whirlwind it’s been. ✨✨

In less than two and a half weeks, we have poured our hearts into getting this BIG show on its feet, including those painful actor days when you’re certain you’re a hack, shaking your fists at God, swearing”, I promise I’ll never act again, just get me through this”! 😂

And somehow… here we are. Ready. 🎬

So much gratitude to our magician of a director and my dearest friend, Robyne Parrish who waved her magic wand and brought this marvelous production to life. Your vision and creativity, your unwavering steadfastness, and your love and belief in each of us have meant more than I can say. ❤️❤️

And this wildly talented cast of ten artists: my costars and my new friends. You inspire me! It has been a great joy to watch all of you work, and an even greater joy to get to play with you every night. 🎨 🎁

A very special thank you to Amelia Heastings our ASM and my behind-the-scenes angel, who makes sure this Hard of Hearing (HoH) actor never misses a cue. 🦻 And to Arrow Rock Lyceum and my castmates for so generously making accommodations as I navigate hearing loss on a big stage. That care has meant the world to me. 🦻💛

And then there’s Arrow Rock itself, this magical little town that has completely charmed me. 🏡

Tonight we finally get to share it with an audience. 🎉

Let the bodies hit the floor. 🔪 🩸 🧶 💉 😉
