Our Visual Arts teachers brought the magic of gold to life!

Art teachers Ms. Miller and Ms. Hanlon shared the fascinating "Solid Gold" exhibition on display at the Brooklyn Museum with our 7th and 8th graders, exploring how this precious metal has shaped art, design, and culture through the ages. Following their presentation, students created dazzling gold snowflakes that now illuminate the Quad!โœจ

Sometimes all you need is a little sparkle to brighten up these winter days! โ„๏ธ

๐ŸŒŸ ๐Ÿ“– Sharing the power of storytelling!

๐ŸŽฎ Where soldering irons bring fun facts to life - our grade 8 designers just turned into game developers!

They created interactive "Fun Fact Flap Flips" games inspired by our Lower School students' favorite topics. Think copper tape, LEDs, and circuits that light up green for wins (and red for "try again")!

But how do they make all this possible? Pure STEM magic! โœจ Our Middle School Lions worked alongside their teachers to master 700ยฐF soldering irons, learn about electrical circuits, and turn passions - from rainforest sloths to international dodgeball day - into engaging quiz games. The real spark came from watching our younger and older students collaborate: with kindergartners acting as inspiration, then as eager game testers!

That's what happens when you mix creativity, engineering, and a dash of cross-grade friendship! ๐Ÿ”‹โœจ Great work, Lions!
