Diving Deep Into Meaningful Conversations

Our little scholars tackled thought-provoking questions using the RACE writing strategy after finishing their latest book.

They practiced restating questions, answering thoughtfully, citing evidence, and explaining their ideas as they explored the text more deeply. 💭

This is the Wellspring Model in action: students learning to think critically, support their ideas, and engage meaningfully with what they read.

When Numbers Get Magical

Our 4th graders discovered that in math, where a digit stands can change everything! 🔢

A simple shift can transform a digit’s value, while a little zero can make a surprisingly big difference.

Through place value, students are discovering the patterns and relationships that make numbers so fascinating. Sometimes, even math can feel magical.

Ages 12–15 are a time of significant physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development, as young people become more independent and develop their interests, relationships, and sense of identity.

🌿 Why Do Trees Change?

What makes a tree look different as the seasons change?

Our second graders explored how sunlight, temperature, and the environment influence trees throughout the year. They then chose a season they connected with and created their own colorful tree posters.

It was a chance to take a familiar part of nature and look at it with a scientist’s curiosity: noticing changes, thinking about causes, and representing what they learned. 🍂🍁

🍎 Learning Through Making

Our kindergarten students explored the parts of an apple by observing a real apple, learning what each part does, and then creating their own labeled apple models.

By making something with their own hands, students turned a science concept into something they could see, build, label, and explain.

Building Arabic Literacy Step by Step

Alhamdulillah, our third graders are developing their Arabic reading and writing skills by strengthening the foundations of the language.

Students are reviewing Arabic letters, short and long vowels, and how letters connect to form words. Through practice and repetition, they are building greater accuracy, confidence, and familiarity with the Arabic script.
