In Korean, the word gajok (가족), pronounced gah-johk, translates to family. Every year, Columbia KSA has prided itself on grouping students into gajoks, in which individuals can build lasting friendships through outings, hangouts, and other activities! Please fill in the form below so that we can help place you in a gajok with similar interests. Note, participants can also sign up with friends to be placed in the same gajok! The form closes at 11:59PM on October 6th (Wednesday).
Be sure to show up to Gajok Kickoff on October 8th (Friday) @1:00pm at the lawn outside Kent Hall. where we place participants in individual gajoks as well as play socially-distanced, outdoor games for points!

Hello, the three Korean student clubs of NYU (KISO, KSA, KGSA) have come together to help ameliorate a critical issue in South Korea.
Following the recent outbreak of COVID-19 in South Korea, the number of confirmed cases has exponentially grown and reached the alarming number of 8000 in the past couple of weeks. Of that number, nearly 6000 are reported from the city of Daegu alone, causing detrimental effects to the city.
As we aim to represent the Korean student body here at NYU, we felt the necessity to reach out and help the medical staff in Daegu, South Korea.
The medical staff in Daegu is currently working extremely overtime due to the lack of staff compared to the patients and receives insufficient amount of funding for their own care, causing them to work without sufficient time for rest and nutrition.
We would sincerely appreciate any amount of donation for the staff that are risking their lives every day.
We are accepting donations through both the fundraising platform “Givebutter” and a Venmo account.
The campaign will start on 3/12/20 and continue until 3/31/20.

Venmo: -4-Daegu
(Donations to this Venmo account will be transferred to the fundraising platform with the donor’s name at the end of each day. So, please include your full name when sending a donation to this Venmo account.)
