Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. | Phi Zeta Zeta Chapter (Queens, NY)

Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc., Phi Zeta Zeta Chapter (Queens, NY Graduate Chapter) has provided service to the Queens community since April 14, 2007.

Zeta Phi Beta Sorority was founded January 16, 1920 on the campus of Howard University in Washington, D.C. by five coeds. These women dared to depart from the traditional coalitions for Black women and sought to establish a new organization predicated on the precepts of Scholarship, Service, Sisterly Love and Finer Womanhood. The trail blazed by the founders has been traversed by thousands of women dedicated to the emulation of the objectives and ideals of the Sorority. The sorority was the first Greek-letter organization to charter a chapter in Africa (1948); to form adult and youth auxiliary groups, the Amicae, Archonettes, Amicettes, and Pearlettes; and to be constitutionally bound to a brother group, Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Incorporated.

Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated- Phi Zeta Zeta Chapter continues to do our part to help end hunger this Hunger Action Month 🧡

On Saturday, chapter members completed our monthly visit to the South Jamaica Community Fridge, where we cleaned and restocked the fridge with nourishing food for those in need. As the cost of essentials like groceries continues to put pressure on household budgets, we remain committed to helping ensure that everyone in our community has access to the food they need to live fuller, healthier lives!

Food is a human right. ny.queens.fridge is open 24/7. No judgment, no barriers, just free food for anyone who needs it!

Phi Zeta Zeta Chapter is delighted to welcome Soror Nayah McKenzie to the Crown Jewels of Queens!

This welcome is especially sweet because Soror McKenzie is a Zeta Legacy — the daughter of our very own Soror Tara Kizer-McKenzie, Phi Zeta Zeta Chapter Parliamentarian. 💙 From one generation of Finer Womanhood to the next, we love seeing the Zeta legacy continue right here at home.

Soror McKenzie brings her own talents, experience and enthusiasm to PZZ, and she has already jumped right into chapter life. We’re excited about all that she will contribute as we continue our work in Scholarship, Service, Sisterhood and Finer Womanhood.

Sisterhood, surprises & a little Zeta style. 💙🤍👟

The Crown Jewels of Queens were closing out summer with good food, laughs & sisterly love when our International President, Dr. Stacie N. C. Grant, surprised us with a first look at the Zeta Phi Beta × PUMA collaboration! 💙

Because apparently sisterhood looks even FINER in fresh Royal Blue & Pearl White kicks. 😉

What better way to start the new sorority year than partnering with our long time partner ?!

Last week and helped host a back to school event for students at Saratoga Family Residence. Together we were able to provide school supplies to over 60 families. Each back pack donated contained essential items that students needed in order to successfully begin their school year. The students were excited about beginning the school year and we are happy to know that they now have the necessary tools to do so. Thank you to everyone who donated items to make this event a success!

As we prepare to celebrate 20 years of service to the Queens community, we are proud of this continued partnership and the many ways that we get to support families in our community 💙
