BCGS Language Director on Virtual Teaching Tour 🧑‍🏫

Detlef visited two German classes of his colleagues Jutta at Columbia and Denise at Notre Dame. He prepared and co-taught lessons on past and current affairs in Berlin and Germany. The topics the students discussed with Detlef were pop-up bike lanes, Corona crisis management and public debate, the Holocaust memorial, and (re-)naming of controversial streets. Of course, this was all embedded in beautiful German grammar and listening comprehension exercises… can't get enough of it? Visit our German Discourse & Culture classes at BCGS in Berlin! ✈️
