Today marks the beginning of the 150th year of the New York Society for Ethical Culture.
Founded in 1876 by philosopher and educator Dr. Felix Adler, the Ethical Movement’s mission is to encourage respect for humanity, stewardship of nature, and collective action to build a more just world.
Our mission is more critical now than ever.
In today’s political and economic climate, we must remember our responsibilities to each other and our communities. We remain committed to fighting for social justice and will continue to be a cornerstone of progressivism in New York City.
A better world is possible if we work together, and we won’t rest until it becomes a reality.
A wonderful Flourish Festival by NYU's Global Spiritual Center.
