How do we accelerate the transition to a green economy in heavy-industry landscapes? In my latest published research, I analyze Kazakhstan’s unique trajectory toward carbon neutrality by 2060, focusing on how “Alternative Renewable Energy Sources (RES)” and **Artificial Intelligence (AI)** drive cross-border sustainability policy.

To engage global policy networks and UN talent acquisition channels, my strategy focuses on three core pillars:

The Academy of Management’s Community Accelerator Program (CAP) - The Silk Road Initiative in Almaty

It was an absolute pleasure for me to meet the Academy of Management (AOM) team in Almaty during the launch of The Silk Road Initiative.
The energy, depth of scholarly engagement, and commitment to fostering capacity-building within our region were truly inspiring. This workshop provided an invaluable platform for knowledge exchange, connecting local scholars and doctoral students with editors from top-tier journals. AOM bridges rigorous management research with real-world impact underscored the importance of our collaborative mission to amplify diverse voices across the historic Silk Road corridor.

Our discussions were not only intellectually stimulating but also solidified a foundation for sustained partnership that will undoubtedly elevate the visibility and quality of management research originating from and about Central Asia.

Looking ahead, our collaborative journey is just beginning, and I am excited to share three key focus areas for our future activities:
* **Sustained Capacity Building:** We will continue to develop structured mentorship programs and research workshops tailored to the needs of doctoral students and early-career scholars in Central Asia to refine their publication strategies.
* **Enhanced Scholarly Networks:** We aim to institutionalize periodic knowledge-exchange forums that facilitate ongoing dialogue between AOM editors and the regional academic community, ensuring long-term integration.
* **Regional Impact Research:** Our efforts will pivot toward supporting collaborative research projects that specifically address management challenges unique to the Silk Road region, translating academic inquiry into tangible real-world impact.

Вчера в нашем университете отгремела конференция «Модель ООН 2026».
Это был день ярких дебатов, смелых идей и крутых знакомств. Мы не просто обсуждали глобальные проблемы, мы учились их решать, анализируя вызовы современности с разных сторон.

Главные итоги дня:
📌Масштаб: 5 комитетов работали одновременно на трех языках, охватив весь спектр цифровой дипломатии.
📌Опыт: получили ценные советы от экспертов ООН и МИД РК, вдохновившись их профессиональным путем.
📌Атмосфера: собрали заряженную команду лидеров, которые стремятся к позитивным изменениям в мировом сообществе.

Мой опыт работы с международными изданиями показывает: «вежливая наглость» и грамотное управление коммуникациями ускоряют публикацию в Scopus в два раза.

Вот 4 секрета «секретного чата» с редакцией, которые должен знать каждый исследователь:

Excited to share reflections from my recent talk at the 82nd session of the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific. In my work on AI, digital transformation, and sustainable development, one insight stands out: innovation only creates value when it actually reaches people—especially farmers. An important tool is extension service training.

Here are 4 takeaways for young professionals:

1. Extension centers = real impact
Extension services connect research with real life. They bring knowledge, training, and technology directly to farmers—especially smallholders and women-led farms.

2. Innovation needs delivery, not just ideas
Even the best technologies fail without “last-mile” support system. Extension systems ensure solutions are applied, not just discussed.

3. Partnerships drive change
When universities, tech companies, and governments work together through extension platforms, innovation scales faster and more effectively.

4. Digital skills meet agriculture
AI, data, and smart farming tools are transforming agriculture—but extension services help to adapt the newest technologies in the field and help people actually use them in their practical work

Bottom line:
The future of development is not just about innovation—it’s about connection. Extension systems can serve as the bridge between ideas and real-world impact.
