It's one of our favorite days at CLC: Animal Day!! Today, the Red and Purple Roomers welcomed a kaleidoscope of monarch butterflies, one for each friend to get to know and take care of. We can't wait to learn about these remarkable creatures and build identities for our new fluttery friends 🦋

Valentine's Day prep has begun in the Yellow Room 💗

It's a big day here at CLC - the friends successfully fed our big Venus Fly Trap for the first time! The children have been learning all about carnivorous plants, and tending to a tiny Venus, a big Venus, and Pitcher plant. Today, Big Venus ate a delicious lunch of meal worms, which friends carefully placed using special tongs. Yum!

Yellow Roomers' exploration of citrus and color mixing has made its way into the sensory table! Here friends explore oranges and lemons frozen in glittery ice colored with red and yellow tempera paint, marveling as the colors melt into an orangey sea 🍊🍋❤️
