Me at my birthday show, motorboating Anne Hinged while wearing a Beaker mask and a sheer jumpsuit with no underwear. If anyone has any suggestions for age-appropriate behavior

Video thanks to Leona Ferocious

Thank you to everyone who came out for the wild ride!!!

My birthday present from Jonny Porkpie . I’ve already written a poem inspired by her and I suspect I will be writing much much more! This dancer reminds me of working in clubs. She’s even got the little hip dip and leg bone shapes like me!

I was a feature dancer in st clubs in the 1980s/1990s, doing fan dances, fire eating, and comedy routines.

Last night at Coney Island USA with the students from my burlesque intensive series!!! What an incredible show they put on! Thank you Adam Realman and Patrick David Wall for helping make the series happen. Thanks to Angie Pontani Queerly Femmetastic🌈 🖖🏾 💅🏾 and Jonny Porkpie , the brilliant guest instructors, and to the audience who showed up to cheer them on. I can’t wait to see what these fresh performers do next!

Thanks to all the amazing staff, Dennis, Daniel, and Junior. And thanks to 🍒Filthy Mari Chino for taking this picture and for always being on top of everything. I don’t know what I’d do without you.

I’m turning 64 in August and I am so ridiculously excited about it. I don’t even know why! Is it the Beatles song? The fact that it’s my last year in this age bracket? Am I just blown away that after all the m**h, hair metal bands, and other bad decisions, I’ve managed to outlive everyone’s expectations? I don’t know!!! But come celebrate with me and my friends at Coney Island August 8!!!! Link in bio or visit the site.

The ending of your performance is as important as the rest of it! How do you want the audience to feel after your number? Make that final impression count by deciding how you want to leave them.

Bonus tip: if you stay onstage and hold a pose for a few seconds after your song ends, you’ll get more applause.
